Great - It's wireless range is excellent so you can walk all over the place and it won't let you down. Also the usb stick is truly plug n play no software and it slides into the presenter so you can't lose it and this disconnects the battery so it never gets drained when buttons are pressed in your bag. Powerpoint backwards! forwards and blank screen is so relibale you can literally forget you are using it. You'll never use a wireless mouse again!

Excellent product

Excellent presenter tool, very ergonomic, comfortable to hold, nice rubberised plastic makes it easy to grip. Buttons have a positive click.

Lack of software is a bonus - just plug in and off you go. The forward and back buttons are effectively Pg Up and Pg Down, stop is Esc, and the laser pointer button also hits F5 to start the presentation. This does have a drawback if you want to use the laser pointer on a webpage, as it will keep refreshing the page!

Range is excellent, even with the PC and USB receiver tucked away in a cupbard. The USB receiver slots very neatly into the bottom of the device, which also turns it off to save battery power.

For £27, you can't say no!

Amazingly good!

I've used on of these for several presentations and I can't rate it more highly for how good it is. It has always been reliable and battery life is excellent. It fits very well into the hand for comfortable use and the buttons feel nice and solid.

The range is excellent. I had my laptop in a cinema projection box and could drive the presentation from the lectern in the auditorium about 45-50m away through the wall!

The usb dongle installs automatically without any driver discs etc. on any Win XP computer and is ready to go in about 5-6 seconds. The best bit is that it is stored inside the transmitter and when stowed turns the unit off so you can't drain the battery with buttons pressed in your bag/pocket.

All this for under £25 - Bargain!

Excellent little device

We have two of these devices and they have both been reliable, well made and have a good battery life and range. Ideal for employees who are not too familiar with a fully featured remote mouse as there are fewer opportunities to make cock-ups with this remote. The usb receiver clips into the body of the remote when not in use, making it difficult to lose.

Great only for presentations

This product is a must for presentations (using powerpoint or similar). Has 4 very easy to use buttons:
Laser: Will display a laser and start presentation (mapped to F5)
Back: Effectively "Page Up"
Forward: Effectively "Page Down"
Stop: Sends a "b" to the computer which in powerpoint, blanks the screen. In the likes of MS Word, it will display the letter "b" on the screen!

The laser pointer is a nice feature to have, however the laser itself is a little weak, and as it also sends the F5 key when pressed, you can't really use it in anything other than powerpoint (i.e. will refresh the page every time if on a website). There is no software to configure this, so your only hope is to disable the F5 key if this will be a problem.

Overall, a very ergonomical utility that works great for presentations, but if you want to use it for anything else, then don't expect to use the laser.
