Rubbish

Bought 7 months ago and has broken down already. Cheap price reflects the lack reliability and poor quality. Am currently using an 8 year old Dell flat screen monitor which still works perfectly.

Bad pixel

I got this screen in the last week.

It is pretty much what you would expect at this price level.

My one unfortunately had a single stuck on green sub pixel .

If it was not for the pixel I would have given the screen 4 stars.

Great price but it doesn't work!!

Great price but this monitor won't work at full 1400x900 with my GeForce graphics cards. I've installed all the latest drivers and it still doesn't work. If you have an Nvidia graphics card be careful. I tried this on a Dell and it worked (after a bit of teaking).

Started well

Delivery very quick, set-up a doddle and it looked excellent. 24 hours in it developed a line down the left hand side (also referenced by another recent review). I've just returned it and am pondering whether to just order another one...

Recently bought the monitor but not satified and wouldn't reccommend - delivery problems, picture quality poor and a series of lines (dead pixels) at the bottom of the screen. Hoping to return to manufacturer.

Worthless Warranty

HannsG are good value budget monitors.
Unfortunately they are represented in the UK by a company called Repairtech who do not stock units to honour the 3 year onsite exchange warranty.
My monitor failed after 3 months and its now 13 weeks since I reported the problem and I still have not received a replacement unit.
They are not answering my emails about this and to top it all you have to call an 0871 number to report faults which cost 3 pounds.
A totally dissatisfied customer

Good value, easy to use. Shame that after 1 month it delveoped a black line horizontally across the screen. Hope it's a one off, sending back for replacement :\

Fantastic for the money

Having read the previous reviews of this monitor I was a little skeptical, but once I'd got used to not having a monster 19" CRT in front of me I can't fault these panels. One is running on a Mac Mini, the other is my PC-based TV. Only 1 dead pixel, right up in the top right of the PC screen so it's not worth complaining about since it's only visible in TV letterbox mode. Can't see it in XP.

Mac OSX picked up the screen straight away, WinXP needed the driver loading. Brightness etc needed tweaking since it was too bright.

Can't comment on the speakers since I don't use them, but they look like laptop units so don't expect too much from them I guess.

In short, best £260 I've spent though a point is lost for no included DVI cable. They DO include a VGA and sound cable though.

Be cautious with "Customer" reviews

Either I've got a duff monitor or all the customer reviews of this product were written by Hanns-G! I expected it to be excellent, having read the reviews and specification, however I am extremely disapointed with the performance. I know it is a cheap monitor, but the screen on my £400 Fuji laptop is 100 times better! No screen resolution seems to suit it and the colours are a long way out. I have tweaked my graphics card to no avail. I will be extremely cautious when reading "Customer" reviews in future, as the monitor I have is simply nowhere near as good as others have described.
