Steve...what does your comment/reminder on the paper catalogue price have to do with reviewing this hardware?

The product itself is good!! Ordered one 3 weeks ago when told on the site 1-3 days!! Lol.
Product is worth the money.
I've seen it a lot more expensive ones so overall quite good.
This used to be way over £148.84, now £88. This needs the drivers installed to be of any use. Once fully installed great for moving 'bigger than DVD' files around. Can hold 2 DVD movies, but also perfect for holding complete Virtual Machines (eg 12gb+ files, not possible without the drivers indtalled). The rubber enclosure of the stick makes it very robust and water proof. So if work is buying its a good work horse.Come with encryption software and great for backups.
Well happy with this i was a little skeptical as Pictures can sometimes deceive in Regards to the size of an item but this Flash Key is Smaller than my old 1Gb Drive & stores an amazing 16GB's So far I've backed up all my vital Business Data from my laptop to it & still had loads of room left for my Non Vital Data Too :-) No problems at all so for and the transfer rates were brilliant Great price, Great size, Great Performance, You won't be disappointed
OK, I was a bit dubious about buying a 16GB flash drive. You hear rumours about them being unreliable etc etc. This product is excellent, I got it at a good price (it seems to vary). I use syncback free from the internet to syncronise all our business files in a few minutes. No more tape drives, dvd's its great.
The performance is very good, the only negative point is the bleeding rubber cap, which eventually gets loose and fals off or conversely you lose it 'cause its too loose.
However getting onto Corsair support gets you another one.
If not for this PIA I'd give this drive 6/5 as it performs faultlessly.
I may eventually purchase the 32GB Flash Survivor as it appears to be of a better design...
regards
Price is ok, but not that good fit in front desktop usb ports - actually bought this and 8gb for my eee to load roms from but they won't fit together in the two usb slots due to thickness
Not bad at all. But for some reason prevents my laptop from booting or waking from hibernation when it is plugged in. Its also a good looking drive and comes with an extension cable and lanyard. Downside is that the drive is a little slow on the writes. Read speed is ok though.
