Better off with PS/2

I've had this for a few days now and find that I have to unplug the usb connector every other time to get it to work again. When it does switch it can take between two to ten seconds before the keyboard and mouse is enabled.

If you can use the PS/2 version then they are better.

We bought three and I'm going to try and swap them for the PS/2 version.

Didn't work for me

Didn't work for me. I linked a HP nc6400 (XP SP2) and emachines PC (XP SP2) to an Advent 19" widescreen. It would only display the first one powered on, wouldn't switch between. The crystal clear display before was made fuzzy using this, I tried differing resolutions, refresh rates, powering on sequences. The laptop kept making noises to signify the USB connection was made/broken/made/broken. Eventually after 2hrs of trying and speaking to Belkin's Indian call centre the laptop got the bluescreen of death and crashed. I raised a return record and I'm currently awaiting a refund.

Best Avoided

While very easy to use and setup, I have had nothing but trouble with this on my PC laptop setyup/ I have a logitech G15 gaming keyboard, iiyama TFT and MS optical mouse.

The KVM will just randomly switch channels, go into a change loop or change and then not let you change back. I sent one back and the replacement is no better.

I use the switch with a desktop pc and a laptop, for the first 2 days the switch worked fine but since then it freezes, it will switch from one but then won't switch back and is a complete waste of money.AVOID THIS

Not quite right

1st unit failed to recognise keyboard. Replacement supplied by Belkin, worked for 6 weeks then stops monitor being recognised correctly by pc. Switching is not always sucessful either by remote or by keyboard shortcuts. Overall something just isn't right about this product. Writing this review whilst here looking for an alternative product.
