Write a review for the Akasa Silicone Thermal compound, 3.5G with Spreader card here!
rather big tube compared to what im used to..
Anyways, it keeps my AMD Phantom 9500 at 40*C, so its good, but to be honest artic silver is better
This stuff is grey and pasty. A kind of grey paste. It cools your CPU! Don't get it on the carpet though...
Although I think £6 is a bit pricey for the tiny pot you get - it is an essential buy.
Bought this to put on my cpu when changing motherboards. My cpu usually was about 45-50c Idle. With this stuff it is now 30-35c Idle!!
Can't ask for more than that!
Does exactly what it says on the.. small.. tube
it's nothing spectacular and has the viscosity of putty in water (partly runny and partly almost solid!), i wouldn't overclock on it but it's a good thing to have in a pinch (stops you wondering if you'd get away with using vaseline!). the teeny tiny tube that came with my Zalman cooler is so much better. get this if your budget is strict, else get the arctic silver.
