having received this today and just had a brief play, i found myself being very impressed! It looks stunning, feels good to hold and seems very well built. would recommend to anyone planning to use this to control media center (havent tried on the ps3 yet). overall I would have to say worth the money, even though it is a lot of cash for a keyboard.

Ah the perfect media keyboard? Small, sleek, excessively cool?

Almost.

First things first, its a fingerprint magnet, & from a usability point of view, the keyboard is terrible. There are no raised dots on the home keys (F & J) so touchtyping is impossible, and it's hard to tell the difference between different keys as they are convex, as opposed to the concave keys on most keyboards, meaning your fingers easily slip onto the wrong key.

Unfortunately mine exhibits the same issues as the person above me stated. Bluetooth regularly drops out and the keyboard becomes useless, with only the touchpad working. To fix it you have to remove and reinsert the battery.

The bluetooth issues might be fixed by the time you get yours, but they keyboard problems are always going to be there... I'd look elsewhere.

P.S. Why can Apple make an incredibly small, attractive aluminium bluetooth keyboard for £50, but Logitech make a small plastic one and it costs £75?!! That’s just wrong.

This looked the perfect gizmo to control my home theatre PC and after installing worked well, apart from: difficult to open lid and the hinge pinches your fingers!, irritating mouse/remote mode switch, bluetooth connection fails regularily so have to keep removing keyboard battery. All in all a beautifully designed but insifficiently tested product.
