The 10GbE connectivity impresses with exceptional speed.
iSCSI Volume Backup
iSCSI Volume Backup is a key feature of TS6000. If TS6000 is used to expand storage capacity of a server, the iSCSI volume backup allows data to be transferred directly from one TS6000 to another TS6000, without having to go through the server and thus reducing the server load significantly.
Replication with TeraStation
By replication, a folder in two separate TeraStations is synchronized almost in real time. This only happens in one direction (not bi-directional) - from the source to the destination. This function can be set up in LAN and WAN. WAN setup includes remote connection via port forwarding and VPN setup.
