When it comes to music on the move the Apple iPod needs no introduction. The iconic iPod range completely dominates the market with something for everyone. The smallest of the range, the iPod Shuffle, is roughly an inch square and is available in five colours, all with 2gb of storage and a clip to attach it to your clothes so you don't have to fumble in your pockets to change track. The iPod shuffle does not have a screen so control is provided by five buttons on the front of the unit.
The next model in the range is the iPod Nano, this is slightly bigger at about an inch and a half square and has a colour touchscreen for control. The Nano is available in six colours, with either 8gb or 16gb of storage with the addition of radio functionality which enables you to pause and rewind live radio.
The top of the Apple iPod range is the iPod Touch, with capacities of 8, 32 or 64gb. The iPod Touch is so much more than an mp3 player, with a 3.5 inch touchscreen and a 720p capable rear video camera there isn't much it can't do. Email, internet browsing and even face to face video calls over wi-fi are possible and that's before you install any of the hundreds of thousand applications available for it in Apples App Store.
