For some tasks, there is nothing more efficient or comfortable to use as a desktop PC, with a full size keyboard and mouse and a good sized screen at the right height. The home PC can be found in a wide range of styles, becoming more popular are all-in one style system such as the Samsung DP-U350, which has the PC components built inside the touchscreen monitor case, components such as a Blu-Ray drive, webcam and speakers are all built in, meaning there are no unsightly cables for all the peripherals. The specification of the PC should be tailored to the tasks you expect to perform with it as performance can vary enormously. A basic PC is fine for non-intensive tasks such as email and word processing, however, a PC with a basic specification would give very poor performance when used for tasks such as video editing and games.
