Terms and Conditions

1. Windows Vista® licensed products eligible for upgrade under this Program are as follows:
Windows Vista® Home Premium to Windows® 7 Home Premium
Windows Vista® Business to Windows® 7 Professional
Windows Vista® Ultimate to Windows® 7 Ultimate

2. PC's must be purchased between 26th June 2009 and 31st January 2010

3. The upgrade programme is implemented by the vendor of the notebook or desktop purchased. For further information on specific vendor programs please visit the appropriate site using the links in the section above.

4. Each vendor will charge shipping and handling fees. These charges vary by vendor.

Limitations

5. No more than 25 units of upgrade media will be sent to any qualifying end user mailing address.

6. The Windows 7 Media and COA's will be delivered from October 22nd 2009.

7. Proof of purchase is required to register for the upgrade. Proof required will include model, serial number, and COA (Certificate of Authenticity) on bottom of laptop.

8. The Windows 7 Upgrade Option Program requires a clean installation of the Windows 7 upgrade media. All personal data and settings, including documents, pictures, files, programs, music and video, should be backed-up prior to performing the custom installation of Windows 7. After installation of Windows 7, end users should re-install all personal data and restore settings. Visit http://windows.microsoft.com/upgrade-windows-E for important information.
