Great Value for money, cheapest ive seen these for is here at Dabs, Great quality disks, no errors on any of them and hardwearing too
I have been through 2 boxes of these Verbatim +Rs and not a single disk has ever failed to burn correctly. That's nearly 100 DVDs burned, and not a single coaster. Whether you're backing up files or burning DVD video, these disks just never seem to fail.
The first reviewer (below) who experienced problems clearly needed to update his kit, so the issue wasn't with the disks. That said, my PC is 5 years old and I've never had any compatibility issues.
I make frequent use of 2 different brands of set-top DVD recorders for recording and finalizing DVDs, and then transfer the content to my PC (Plextor drive) for editing. These Verbatim discs have flawless compatibility with the set-top recorders and the PC drive, and not a single disc has been defective. Some other brands like Memorex can achieve on a fraction of the reliability. The surface is excellent to print on with a photo-quality printer.
Couldn't record on these DVDs. Small print on the pack said: "older drives may require a firmware upgrade". No idea how to get one.
£18 wasted.
