Write a review for the Kingston ValueRAM KVR667D2N5/1G ddr2 667 240pin dimm CL5 here!
Put two of these into an MSI 945 board and installed Vista. The performance rating for the memory is 5.9 :)
i got this awsome stick of ram when it was about £25 and now it is unbelievably even cheaper at around £15 . ive had no problems whatsoever and performance that is worth four times the value
Put in two of these (in dual channel mode) into a new Gigabyte AM2 board and it works faultlessly. Windows Vista reports a memory benchmark score of 5.8 (against a maximum of 6.0), so that can't be bad! And at under £45 each, having 2gb is now much more affordable.
Works great in Dual Channel mode, no problems so far. Bargain for £20
I paid £16.45 for this, which is fantastic for 1Gb of high quality RAM.
I can't compare them as I haven't used DDR2 before, so I can't say it's fast, slow, or whatever.
What I can say is that it works just fine, it does what it says and above all it's great value.
Why buy anything else?
For its price, simply amazing. No problems and cheap as you like. Kingston is a reliable brand.
Only problem I found was its ability to alter timings (for overclocking purposes) was kinda limited, but for those not concerned with such matters, buy it!
