The DT60 is powerful enough to run multiple simultaneous applications with an 806 MHz processor, 256 MB of RAM, 512 MB of Flash memory, and 802.11 b/g/n wireless - all driven by the popular Windows Embedded 6.5 operating system. The integrated laser scanner is capable of reading all standard, one-dimensional (1D) barcodes including GS1 Databar linear barcodes.
To protect the DT60 from the rigors of today's tough work environments, the rugged exterior housing is able to withstand multiple 4 foot drops to concrete. It also carries a water and particulate sealing rating of IP54 which protects it against damaging dust and liquid spills.
