	Wireless Connectivity The DG834G 54 Mbps Wireless ADSL modem router provides continuous, untethered access to network resources and the Internet. The DG834G allows you to share your hi-speed ADSL broadband connection wirelessly with all the desktop PC’s, laptops and games consoles in the household or small office. A built-in 4 port switch also enables you to connect some computers using cables if you prefer.

	Safe and Secure The built-in True Firewall features Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) and Denial of Service (DOS), which operate as your first line of attack against intruders. The DG834G provides both WEP and WPA-PSK wireless encryption standards to protect your network from eavesdroppers and bandwidth pinchers! Content filtering lets you control access to inappropriate websites and limit usage by time of day. To be ultimately secure you can limit access to designated computers using their unique ID, called a MAC address.

	Easy to Set-up The DG834G 54 Mbps wireless router is simple to use – it plugs directly into your ADSL line, no need for a separate modem. Set-up could not be easier; NETGEAR’s Smart Wizard install assistant automatically detects and makes the best connection to your ISP (Internet Service Provider). It is also easy to change the settings of your DG834G wireless router via a web-browser interface.

Was looking for a reliable router and stubled on this, and found that it works like a dream. I can walk around the house without ever losing the connection. Brought with a Dabsvalue PCMICIA card, slightly more expensive but worth it. Works with tiscali so im happy.

Quick delivery from dabs, no hastle. Got the unit up and running in ten minutes and found connection speeds excellent throughout my home, I also purchased the WG511 PC card and WG121 USB adapter for my laptop and desktop and found that set-up on these were also very straight forward. I purchased on a recommendation from Digital Home Magazine where the DG834G had recently won an award.

Hassle Free Wireless Connectivity!

Reviewed following six very successful months use by a non-techie user with OneTel broadband. I originally bought this router with the sole intention of freeing up my Dell Centrino lap top. Within a week I’d bought a USB stick for my antiquated Siemens Xpert desktop (Dabs Value - EW-7317UG). The unit was pre-installed with the latest firmware and has been absolutely problem free. Tying MAC addresses down was easy, using the WEP feature was easy. This router is currently supporting the Dell laptop, the same antiquated Siemens desktop, a Palm T3 with wi-fi card and just lately, two Apple iBooks belonging to visiting friends. Really hassle free!
