Save up to 60 minutes of messages and see how many messages you’ve received clearly on the screen. You can playback your messages privately through the handset or using the handsfree speaker. There’s also an option to playback your messages slowly.

You can save up to 200 contacts and these can be shared between handsets if you buy a multi pack or register extra handsets. Parental control lets you set a PIN to protect calls to mobile and premium rate numbers to prevent any surprises on your bill, useful if you have children or for elderly relatives who may unknowingly dial numbers they don’t need to.

• Call blocking features

  The BT4600 can block up to 1000 individual numbers, meaning that you really can avoid speaking to the people you don't want to. Over time, the phone learns which calls you do and don't want to take. One touch call blocking - simply press the one touch button if you don't want to take the call, and the caller will be transferred to the answer machine. Or if you have answered the call, pressing the call blocking button will end the call and add the number to the list of blocked numbers when the Caller ID is displayed.
